Chassis Team
The power system eemcompasses the power storage, rear drive motors, motor control and fast charging system. The power storage system is one of they revolutionary components of the Capcicars LZEV design which utilises the fast charging and long life cycle characteristics of Ultra-Capacitors.
The chasis employs an innovative nodal based structure design which leads to a more flexibility and a simpler manufacturing process that can be scaled. Enhanced integration with the power system is also achieved through the use of custom 3D printed parts. A novel steering system is also employed.

Capcicars is a team of Masters year Mechanical Engineering and Aero-Mechanical Engineering students with the goal of designing, building and testing a 1/10th scale Low or Zero Emissions vehicle (LZEV). Capacicars consists of two sub-teams - the power system and the chassis teams.
